Once again, Zion’s Lutheran Church is sponsoring Thanksgiving Day Dinner. We are pleased that this year’s Community Dinner will include in-person dining, as well as pick-up and delivery options. We look forward to renewing friendships, meeting new friends, and sharing this holiday with others. There is no charge for meals, though freewill offerings are always welcome.
Continuing our 30-year tradition, dinner will be served on Thanksgiving Day and all are welcome. Again this year, the menu includes a traditional Thanksgiving feast with turkey, ham, dressing, potatoes, vegetables/salad, rolls, and dessert.
Dinner will be served from noon to 2 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. You can dine in person or pick up meals to go (pick-up begins at 11 a.m.). In addition, meal delivery will be available for those who cannot get out to pick up food or join us for dinner. If you would like to request delivery service, please get in touch with Zion’s Lutheran Church at (719) 846-7785 or via email at zionsluth@gmail.com.
You also can contact Thanksgiving Coordinator Norine Hazen at (719) 680-1292. Be sure to provide your name, the number of meals (we can deliver up to six dinners for those who have multiple people celebrating the holiday with them), delivery address (Trinidad and immediate surrounding communities such as Cokedale, Starkville, Jansen, etc.), and a phone number so that delivery drivers can let you know when your food arrives or call if you if we need more information. The deadline to request meal delivery is 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23. Be aware that we cannot accommodate special menu requests on delivery.
If you have further questions, please get in touch with Ms. Hazen or call the church.
