Welcome Friends and Guests: In Isaiah the one God who sits above the earth and numbers the stars also strengthen the powerless. So, in Jesus’ healing work we see the hand of the creator God, lifting the sick woman to health and service (diakonia). Like Simon’s mother-in-law, we are lifted and healed to serve. Following Jesus, we strengthen the powerless; like Jesus, we seek to renew our own strength in quiet times of prayer.

If you are visiting or new to our faith family, please fill out a yellow guest card and put it in the offering plate so we have a record of your visit. Come back and worship with us each Sunday at 10 a.m. Those worshiping today may come forward for the sacraments or, cross your arms across your chest for a blessing instead. This is Christ’s table where all are welcome, as Christ welcomes all.
